This route allows you to enjoy the Aitona orchard at any time of year, where the main attractions are the fruit trees and the Segre River, and is especially recommended for those looking for a direct and experiential contact with nature.
The route presents no difficulties, it is practically flat and can be done on foot and by leisure bike.

Features of the proposal
The route is designed to climb the hills surrounding the village and offer splendid panoramic views of the surrounding area. We will be able to appreciate the rich landscape of Aitona, characterized by the contrast between dryland and irrigated land.
The route takes us to the Romanesque-style Hermitage of San Joan de Carratalà, from where you can admire the agricultural wealth of the valley.
The route can be done on foot and by mountain bike.

Features of the proposal
The boundary between the municipalities of Aitona and Soses is marked by the so-called "Clamor d'Aitona." This stream is fed by runoff from the irrigation ditches of the surrounding farms. As a waterway, it is home to many animal species, including moorhens, crayfish, ducks, and fish, among others.
This stream begins in the municipality of Fraga and flows into the Segre River.
